Ritidian Reforestation Project [OLD]

All Living Things Of The Earth Are One • Manunu Todu I Manlåla’la’


Join the effort to help protect native trees by clearing weeds around newly planted native limestone forest trees. The trees are used by endangered species for foraging and nesting. Work may involve hand weeding, tree pruning, or bush cutting. Gloves and water will be provided.


How to Help

  • Come to the Ritidian Wildlife Refuge at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12.
  • Registration is encouraged, but participants can also register on the day of the event.
  • Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come.
  • Volunteers should bring sunblock, a water bottle, camera and hat and gloves if possible.
