Beach cleanups

You can help!

There are numerous beach cleanups happening during Earth Day 2014. Check out the list and help keep our island clean.

  • Beach Cleanup @ Tanguisson
    Saturday, April 19 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

    This cleanup, led by Naval Base Guam, will span the entire Tanguisson area. Bring your friends to help make a difference and reduce marine debris. Open to all ages.
  • Beach Cleanup @ Tarague
    Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon

    This cleanup will be on Andersen Air Force Base and will include picking up trash, and gathering info about that trash. Gloves, water, and trash bags will be provided.
  • Hike Cleanup @ Umatac to Toguan
    Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to noon

    Join the Guam Boonie Stompers as they hike to this beautiful cove and pick up trash along the way. meet at 9 a.m. in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagatna. The cost is $2 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Call 787-8830 for more information.
  • Beach Cleanup @ Ypao to Agana
    Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon

    Join the KUAM Careforce as they clean from Ypao Beach all the way to Paseo de Susanna Park in Agana. Bags and gloves will be provided. For more information
  • Beach Cleanup @ Dadi Beach (Base access required)
    Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon
    Join Naval Base Guam in keeping this beautiful beach clean.
