Guam EPA and BSP to host summer camp

The Guam Environmental Protection Agency, in partnership with the Bureau of Statistics and Plans (BSP) is hosting the third Kika Clearwater’s Summer Camp.

Registration is FREE for students entering into third through sixth grade. Spaces are limited and will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Students can only enroll in one of the 4-day camp sessions.

The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and incudes to numerous natural resource areas around the island. The first session is from July 23 to July 26. The second session is from July 29 to Aug. 1, and the final session is from Aug. 5 to Aug. 8.

Kika Clearwater’s Summer Camp is a ridge-to-reef experience where students will learn about non-point sources of pollution, watersheds, the diverse ecosystems found on Guam, including our coral reef ecosystems through a variety of hikes and snorkel opportunities. Kika camp engages students and exposes them to Guam’s beautiful natural resources.
