Guam EPA issues responses to comments for the Green Clover Environmental, LLC permit application

The Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) today made the agency’s final responses to all comments received regarding Green Clover Environmental, LLC’s solid waste processing permit application available to the general public.

Copies of the comments and all responses are available at Guam EPA’s main office in Tiyan, here or at the agency’s Issuu site.

“We thank the public for reviewing the permit application and providing us with their comments and thoughts. Public input is a very important part of the permitting process and we value all oral and written comments that were received regarding this particular permit application,” Guam EPA Administrator Eric M. Palacios said. “I’d like to thank the mayors of Barrigada, Dededo and Mangilao for assisting us with the public hearing we had regarding this permit, and their efforts to educate their constituents about the permit application and of the proposed activities.”

Guam EPA continues to review Green Clover Environmental LLC’s solid waste processing permit application. A final decision regarding the permit has not yet been made.
