Guam EPA to host inaugural Zero Waste Pacific Conference; offices closed from noon to 5 p.m. two days next week

29 April 2014

The Guam Environmental Protection Agency will be hosting the inaugural Zero Waste Pacific Conference on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9.

The Administration and Operations offices will be closed to the general public from noon to 5 p.m. on those days. Guam EPA recognizes the importance of eliminating, as best as possible, any impact that this closure will have on its customers. Any customer needing assistance during these times are encouraged to visit the Agency between 8 a.m. and noon.

“Guam EPA is pleased to host the first-ever Zero Waste Pacific training and conference for our region. Our agency is actively working to build its knowledge base and broaden its network with other solid waste managers and professionals in the Pacific region and beyond,” said Guam EPA Administrator Eric M. Palacios.

“We look forward to welcoming environmental professionals from Micronesia and the world. I am confident that the knowledge that the attendees will gain will be mutually beneficial for their organizations and our community.”
