The Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) has upgraded the record keeping by procuring a professional-grade digital recorder.
The recorder will be used for official Agency business including meetings of the Board of Directors, appeal hearings, public meetings and other activities of interest.
“We estimate the Agency will save $200 a month by using this new equipment. Not only is this a cost-savings but a digital recorder will give us the opportunity to share these important meetings with more members of the public,” said Guam EPA Administrator Eric M. Palacios. “We will be able to easily share what happens in our public meetings with anyone interested. This helps ensure all of our workings are open and transparent.”
This upgrade was 100% federally funded.
