Guam EPA weekly beach report unavailable; Residents advised to avoid beach during high surf advisory
The Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) will not issue a weekly beach report today. Samples taken yesterday from recreational waters have been invalidated due to electrical issues in the Operations Building.
Residents are advised to avoid all beach areas due to the continued high surf advisory. The a dvisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23. Hazardous surf will make going near the ocean dangerous as waves and rip currents can be life threatening.
