Pesticide program assists in training

19 December 2012

The Guam EPA Pesticide Enforcement Program recently assisted regional partners by offering training about pesticide law, enforcement options and strategic goals.

Betwin Alokoa and Karl Olson of Guam EPA’s Pesticide Program traveled to Saipan and Rota in the CNMI to offer the training to environmental regulators and Customs officers. The pair covered various aspects of Guam’s pesticide rules, regulations, successes and challenges. This four-day training will help improve pesticide control throughout the region.
