Staff respond to small quantity spill

Guam EPA staff today responded to a small quantity oil spill at the intersection of Marine Corps Drive and Harmon Loop Road in Dededo.

Just before 10 a.m. today, Guam EPA received a report of a small oil spill in Dededo from a transformer that fell off a truck. Staff from Guam EPA’s Hazardous Waste Management Program responded. The spill was being cleaned up with absorbent pads and materials by Guam Power Authority staff.

The amount of oil spilled was estimated to be less than eight gallons.
