It is with deep satisfaction to have had the pleasure of your participation at the 30th Pacific Islands Environment Conference. We are humbled by your confidence in our island to facilitate Greening Growth in the Pacific. You have truly blessed our island through your service as ambassadors of environmental goodwill and as agents of change towards the evolution of sustainability in our region.
The countless hours of planning, and careful thought in assembling these tracks and plenaries tailor-made for this audience have culminated into a product that we proud to have shared with you. You have our admiration and our congratulations for being the most important part of this experience.
We hope you have seen what can be achieved with imagination and the right ambition. With the knowledge imparted upon us, we must all believe in our capabilities and our duties, both as individuals, and as Pacific Islands nations.
This may be the end of what we hope to have been the most informative three days of advocacy for preservation in the Pacific. But what we have been a part of over these last three days will not stop. The spirit of this conference will go on, and will continue to inspire a generation of Pacific Islanders, with willful tenacity and awareness towards sustainability and conservation.
