Aboveground Storage Tank Operating Permits DUE June 30, 2024
Failure to obtain an aboveground storage tank (AST) permit for your facility by June 30, 2024 may result in a notice of violation and an administrative penalty order of $25,000 per day of non-compliance.
Pursuant to Guam Public Law 34-140, owners and operators of ASTs containing regulated substances must apply for an AST operating permit and submit the following documents and fees to Guam EPA by June 30, 2024:
- Guam EPA Registration of AST Systems – Application for AST Renewal Permit for each AST location;
- A copy of the financial assurance for the AST at each location; and
- A check payable to Treasurer of Guam c/o Guam EPA AST Fund for each AST
containing a regulated substance at each location.
