Guam EPA Submits 2021 Annual State Public Water System Compliance Report
On July 16, 2022, the Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) submitted its 2021 Annual State Public Water System Compliance Report to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The report entails Guam’s annual compliance report (ACR) of the current eight (8) public water systems that were regulated in as of December 31, 2021. Guam EPA included a summary of the 2021 drinking water Maximum Contaminant Level, Treatment Technique, and significant monitoring/reporting violations. This summary can be found in Appendix A, with a table that is organized by contaminant type, inclusive of: Organic Contaminants, Disinfectant/Disinfection By-Products (DBP) Rule, Radionuclides, Revised Total Coliform Rule, Surface Water Treatment Rule, Inorganic chemicals, Lead and Copper Rule, and Ground Water Rule. Guam EPA has also included a summary of the violations and with the water system names that is provided in Appendix B.
